Carri Williams, sentenced for 37 years for the death of Ethiopian adoptee Hana Alemu, gave up custody of her minor biological children in September 2013, when she was convicted of homicide by abuse. This past January, she tried to overturn a ruling to stop the adoption of her children. Appellate court judges disagreed.
This means that Carri Williams cannot stop the adoption proceedings of 5 of her children, who range in age from 11 to 18. The two oldest biological children are over 18.

I stand corrected. Maybe adoption is a miracle that saves children from their original parents. Don’t fret, Carri. They aren’t being shipped off to another continent where they will be beaten and starved to death in the name of Jesus.
Attempting to feel pity….Nope. I only feel bad for anyone who ever called that woman “mother.”
Good. I hope that they can gain normalcy and healing from the harm she caused them by forcing them to witness the horrific things she did to their adopted siblings. She has lost her right to call herself a mother.
I so agree with you!! The wickedness these horrible people did, will follow these poor kids to their graves.
She was, IMO, never a “mother”. Real mothers don’t act the way she did.
Good. They need stability and normalcy. Maybe some of the harm that was done to them by their parents can be reversed. And witnessing abuse IS harmful.
